Education: BA in Economics, Knox College 1982; MA in Ministry, Pacific Christian College, 1997
Interests: Getting deeper with God, playing with my family, running, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and gardening.
God has blessed Dennis Murphy with a life much different than the one he could have ever imagined.As a young man growing up a preacher's kid in rural Illinois, Dennis had no intentions of ever entering into ministry. However, God had other plans and it only took Dennis 36 years to discover it. So even though Dennis pursued a successful career in business for 19 years, the desire of his heart was to give it all to God and enter into ministry.
After Dennis graduated from Pacific Christian College in Fullerton, CA, with a Masters of Arts in Ministry, he moved his wife Donna and young family from Los Angeles to Fairfield, CA in 1999, to help the Lord establish Hope Christian Church. This small gathering of people from two parent churches of Crossroads Christian Church of Vacaville and First Christian Church of Suisun has now become a loving, healthy, thriving family of God creating new ministers and churches for Christ. Dennis and his wife Donna have been married for over twelve years and they enjoy every joy and struggle in raising their four beautiful girls to become precious women of God.
